Inside the 24H Nürburgring: A special collab with Fanatec, PlayStation & Gran Turismo

The legendary 24 Hours of Nürburgring isn’t just a race — it’s an experience. This year, Nürburgring eSports joined forces with Fanatec, PlayStation, and Gran Turismo to bring a unique sim racing attraction to the heart of the Ring Boulevard.

The GT Experience, Powered by Fanatec

In a dedicated booth just steps away from the paddock, fans had the chance to get behind the wheel — virtually — in six GT Cockpits equipped with Fanatec GT DD Pro wheels and pedals. These simulators offered a high-quality driving experience on PlayStation, giving thousands of visitors a first taste of what virtual motorsport can feel like when done right.

From the moment the doors opened, the GT simulators drew in a constant flow of motorsport enthusiasts — some seasoned sim racers, others discovering the thrill for the first time.

From booth to lounge: The full Nürburgring eSports journey

To take the experience even further, guests were invited to continue the challenge at our Nürburgring eSports Lounge, located just a few steps from the Ring Boulevard. There, they were introduced to our full-motion racing rigs, dozens of playable circuits and a wide selection of GT3, Formula and hypercars — all wrapped in a premium atmosphere with drinks, snacks and live timing on our screens.

Visitors who stepped into the lounge could feel the difference immediately: the motion, the surround sound, the sense of immersion — all designed to replicate the track experience with incredible realism. Many returned the next day to compete with friends or set lap records on our Nordschleife leaderboard.
