The 2021 version of Abu Dhabi provides the setting for Nürburgring eSports’ very first night race as part of the F1 Series! As a venue for eSports races in the simulator, Abu Dhabi is a much more action-packed circuit than in real life. There are far more manoeuvres possible, which will certainly make this race a successful and thrilling start to the season.

The 2020 generation of Formula 1 cars and Abu Dhabi brought us one of the most controversial races of all time. Fortunately, at Nürburgring eSports, we won’t see any Safety Car controversies from our race control. But there will certainly be just as much action as in 2021, if not more.

In a race with the 2023 Formula Hybrid, it’s not just about driving fast, but also about multitasking. MGU-K/engine mode, ERS and DRS must be optimally coordinated with the right choice of tyres and strategy to emerge as the winner from the season-opening race.
